Peter was sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn in front of him and a box of cookies from J. GOB.  He'd found some Coca-Cola (and still couldn't get over the fact it came in cans now) and was flipping through the channels on the TV.

Oooh, war movie.  That looked interesting.  The planes looked familiar too.  Peter sat forward in his seat as the title rolled.  Rescuing Corproral Smith?  Did they make movies about World War II now?

Hermione's used to the common room. She figures she should at least stop in every now and then, especially as she isn't limited to just one anymore.

Peter stood up and bowed to the girl as she walked in. "Good evening! Care for a biscuit? I think we still have chocolate."

She isn't used to that sort of greeting, but that doesn't mean she doesn't appreciate it. "Of course," she says. "Thank you. I'm Hermione."

"Peter Pevensie. Nice to meet you, Hermione, especially since you're a fellow countrywoman."

"There are a few of us here, but I thought I knew them all," she admits.

"I've only met you and Seras Victoria. And I heard another London accent in the bakery one morning. Are there really that many of us then?"

He paused, "Err, ought I ask which Britain you're from?"

"Cedric Diggory and Draco Malfoy," she answers. "There may be more, but I haven't met everyone yet."

She frowns a little. "I'm from England, in 1995. Where and when are you from?"

Zack waved. "Hey."

"Hello," she greets him. She might as well stay friendly if she's going to get to know people. "My name's Hermione. What's yours?"

"Zack Addy. New or old?"

"New," she says. "I'm assuming you're new, too?"

"Very, it was even written on my forehead," Zack replied. "Dealing with the brain breakage?"

Considering she's heard about gremlins, Special Collections, zombies, and vampires, Hermione has reason to look concerned. "That can happen here?" she asks.

His room has been taken over by his roomie and a wee sleeping superhero, so Kawalsky's out wandering around again. He looked around the room, picked a random person and went to say hello. "Hey."

"Hello," Hermione greets him. "I'm Hermione. Are you new?"

"I'm Charlie. And nope. Been here since September. Now you're new. I can tell by the fact that I've never seen you before. Where you from?"

"England, 1995," she answers, because she's getting used to having to specify.

"Cool. United States. 1997. For me, that is. So, I've got a question."

"All right," she nods.

"Hermione!" Willow waved. "I got the pass!"

"You did?" she asks. "Did you have any trouble?"

"No trouble at all," Willow said. "He handed it right over to me. Didn't even mind when I accidentally said 'bugging'."

Hermione frowns. "You said 'bugging'?"

"As in the act of bugging him by bothering him for a note," Willow said. "I didn't mean to! It just happened. He wasn't angry though, so whew."

"Oh," she says. "I'm sorry, I just have different associations with the word 'bugging' now."
