Since that Buffy girl had managed to wrangle his agreement to join a possible basketball team, he decided he might as well get some practice in.

He might be a skinny geek, and only so-so shooting hoops, but he could dribble with the best of them.

"Count on it!" Parker grinned, then looked thoughtful. "Hunh. Hadn't gotten that far. It would probably be better to at least know know how to hold the thing, wouldn't it?" She grinned. "And I am so telling her you said that."

"Probably better to start off with basic sword movements and foot drills at first, true. Luckily, you're already strong and can move so it'll just be adjusting to the actual weapon's weight, strokes, and tactics, rather than having to learn how to actually fight," Peter said thoughtfully. "Please do, I need a good swordwork partner. And if you decide you want more lessons, I'm offering"

Parker grinned, then saluted. "I may just take you up on that. If only to get more ideas for how to keep Alanna from kicking my ass."
