Pangolin Campfire [Saturday Evening]

Bridge has got the campfire going, with an assortment of junk foods- of both of the roasting-over-a-fire and not kinds stockpiled to share with anyone who happened to pass by.

"I have no idea who did it," Joxer said. "I figure it must've been an accident, because I've been nothing but purely nice to everyone I've met."

"Well, if you ever find out about who did it, let me know if you want back-up." He paused, "didn't I read something in the original handouts that there are cameras all over the school? You might be able to have the principal pull up the tape to find out. Then we can take care of the offender."

"I'd have to talk to one of the people in charge, wouldn't I?" Joxer looked a little nervous. "I suppose I could do that."

"I'll go with you if you like," Peter offered. "I was in the Principal's office today. She seems kind enough."

"I can manage by myself," Joxer said, patting his chestplate. "There's no one in this world I'm scared of. Just cause she holds power over me is no reason to be nervous about talking to her."

"I didn't mean to intimate that you were scared," Peter said with a grin. "Really, I didn't. There's just nothing wrong with having someone to watch your back. Are you going to be cleared for swordwork soon? I'm looking forward to a swords partner."

"I was only told to keep it easy a few days, and that was early in the week," Joxer said. "So I could probably manage real soon," Joxer said. "Always ready to swing my sword around."

"Let me know whenever," Peter said with a nod. "I'm over in Stickbug. How've workshops been for you?"

"So far, nothing vicious," Joxer said. "Except when I had to take off my boots in my wilderness survival class."

"Are your feet vicious or just the fact that you had to take off your boots?"

"Everyone had to take off their shoes," Joxer said. "Which is mean when you're hiking about."
