Meerkat Campfire, evening

The cabin is back, or visible at least since it never really went anywhere. She survived cheerleading practice without injury and the rain seems to have stopped. All in all, not a bad day. Now it's time to sit back, relax and enjoy the last campfire and the last s'more for a while.

"It was a crime. Molly and Dawn wound up wearing most of it." Isabel shook her head. "Stickbugs again."

"Wow," Cally said. "Sounds like the Stickbugs are jerks."

"No, not really. I've got good friends in there," she said. "They're just...boys."

"Same difference," Cally said. "I'm assuming there has already been revenge taken?"

"Not for the invisibility. But did you hear about the gnomes that invaded their cabin yesterday?" Isabel grinned proudly. "That was us."

Cally made a face. "Ew, gnomes." She shrugged and shuddered for a moment. "Well, I'm glad you... whatever you ares aren't taking it lying down."

"The gnomes were cute, and cuddly in an odd sort of way," she assured her. "I saw the one hanging on Greg's leg. It was adorable. We meerkats did put up a good fight."

"Meerkat, right," Cally said. "I guess the rivalry dies with the move, huh? You've not got a lot of time to deal with the invisible cabin, then."

"I suppose so. I hope so even. It's starting to escalate now. And that could be bad," Isabel said. "Seriously? How can we top that?"

"Actually remove the walls from their cabin?" Cally offered. "I mean, it'd take a lot of strength, but you've got Molly. Or you could just distract them all and someone could sneak in and weaken the structural integrity of all their beds."

"But we've already moved them in their beds. It would be redundant. We need spectacular at this point. Removing the walls might do it," Isabel said. "But then we get into the tricky area of damaging school property.

"Frak, that's right," Cally said. She popped another marshmallow in her mouth as she thought it over. "I'm not coming up with anything good. All I can think of is all sort of mechanical stuff that would take way too much effort. Plus if I join in, I'm just painting a bullseye on my ass that I don't want."

"Subtle is the key. That and simple. If you do it right? The end result is perfect." Isabel smiled and shrugged. "Well if you do come up with anything over the next few weeks let me know. Because if we come back out to the cabins, I want to be ready."

"Will do," Cally said. "If I come up with anything suitably simple and subtle, you'll be the first to know."

"Thanks Cally," Isabel said sincerely. "So what have you been doing? Anything interesting?"

"Been keeping a low profile," Cally said. "After the whole thing with Anders and the radio... Yeah. Things were weird for a bit."

"The radio?" She thought about it for a minute. "Oh that? That was wrong. He shouldn't have read that on air. Is that why I haven't see Anders around all that much?"

"Probably," Cally said. "He took it kinda hard."

"That's too bad. I'll have to stop by and visit him once we're back up in the dorms," Isabel said. "Do you think it would cheer him up if we got a trip to a baseball game organized? I know he wanted to go."

Cally laughed and shook her head. "I'm not sure, actually."

"Why would..." Isabel facepalmed. "Nevermind."

"Yeah. I'm just avoiding sports all together for a while. Watching them, talking about them, the whole lot."
