Meerkat Campfire, evening

The cabin is back, or visible at least since it never really went anywhere. She survived cheerleading practice without injury and the rain seems to have stopped. All in all, not a bad day. Now it's time to sit back, relax and enjoy the last campfire and the last s'more for a while.

"Mostly," Tyler said. "I guess it's the breezes. But it might be a bad thing. You heard about the gnomes yet?"

"Bad thing to sleep well? I thought it was the lack of sleeping that had to be worried about?" Alec arched an eyebrow. "Gnomes?"

"The lack of sleeping is worse," Tyler said. "But if I had insomnia, the Meerkats wouldn't have been able to dye my hair and move me. Or sneak cuddly gnomes into our cabin."

He sighed. "And yes. Gnomes. They had beards and liked beer and chicken pot pie."

"So it's colorful and not exactly lonely?" He grinned. "Where'd they get gnomes, much less cuddly ones?"

"Hell if I know," Tyler shrugged. "They just showed up and crawled into bed with us."

"That's kind of disturbing." Alec shook his head. "Was that why the disappearing cabin?"

"I know nothing about that," Tyler said. "It just happened. Maybe the gnomes stole it."

"Absolutely nothing surprises me anymore," he remarked, then frowned. "Forget I said that; probably be taken as an invitation for something."

"I hate to think of what," Tyler shuddered. "Because my thresholds for weirdness have been radically redefined."

"Like I said, could be taken as an invitation." He looked around warily. "Traumatizing levels of weirdness could be reached."

"I'm taking the dada workshop, I figure I'm prepared," Tyler said, absolutely serious.

Alec smirked. "I guess if anything could help, it'd be that class."
