Meerkat Campfire, evening

The cabin is back, or visible at least since it never really went anywhere. She survived cheerleading practice without injury and the rain seems to have stopped. All in all, not a bad day. Now it's time to sit back, relax and enjoy the last campfire and the last s'more for a while.

"Okay," Dawn said, kissing him back. "I like sleeping next to you."

"Likewise. You're way better than a teddy bear."

Dawn stared at him.

"Not that I have a teddy bear," Dean added quickly. "Just.. you're warm and nice to cuddle and..." This would be one of those times where I should've stopped talking at the kissing isn't it?"

Dawn giggled. "Maybe? Not that it's bad once you started explaining," she said, "but you said I was more cuddly that something that's small, full of stuffing, and covered in fur."

"Not good?" Dean tried again. "How about sleeping with you is way better than sleeping with Sammy?"

Dawn was struck speechless by the sheer prettiness of that image, even if it was Wrong.

"Dawn?" He leaned down and waved a hand in her face. "You still in there?"

She blinked and shook her head, then grinned dopily at him. "Yep. Still here."

"Good. So no teddy bears, no Sam, guess I'm reduced to saying sleeping with you doesn't compare?"
