3rd Floor Common Room, 6/6, Late Tuesday Afternoon
Tempe entered the common room, bag of groceries in hand. She set them down on the counter, and went to flick on the TV.
Nothing really interesting was on, so she turned it to the music channel. She'd never heard of any of the artists who were being played, but she figured it would be good background noise.
Going back to her groceries, she unpacked the bags, and got out a mixing bowl and spoon from the cupboard.
She set to work making cookies. Lots of cookies. Of all kinds.
[OOC: Open! Come in and help, come in and chat, come in and eat cookies, or just come in and ignore Tempe altogether. Cookie-types are completely moddable.]

Tempe waved as he entered. She held the plate of cookies out to him. "Cookie?"

"Plus, I thought it might draw more people I haven't met out of their rooms."

"...not that I'm planning to get carted off by any such monsters," Tempe added, shaking her head slightly.

Which was how he found himself in the third floor common room. "Tempe!," he greeted. "What are you doing?"

Then, as if to sweeten the deal, she said enticingly, "There are assorted varieties..."

She held out the plate with the cookies. "Cookie?"

Then she giggled. "I think I may have found the key to making friends around here."

"Does everybody bake cookies around here?" he asked, juggling his soccer ball as he walked in. "I knew I liked this place."

"Cookie?" she said, offering him the plate.

Introductions were good, because it didn't seem right to take someone's cookies before knowing their name.
no subject
"I'm Tempe. Very nice to meet you, Conner. And please, help yourself to the cookies. Take some for your friends, as well."

He paused, swallowed, and grinned apologetically. "Sorry."
