Gym - after lunch

CD-player and mats were in place, as Buffy waited for the other cheerleaders to arrive. She was hoping Alec would be better today, the poor sick kitty. She kept glancing towards the bleachers like she was waiting for someone.

Once some/all the cheerleaders had arrived, she got up.

"Next Saturday is the first Gremlins game!" Buffy announced, beaming. "So we have to start practicing really, really hard!"

wait for ocd omg!
OCD Up!
Cheerleaders - plz post your presence in the Chat thread first.
Audience - yes, you may heckle, but keep in mind who you're heckling.

Elizabeth's here to support Janet. And the rest of the cheerleaders.

Honestly.

Sam took a seat next to Elizabeth and handed over an extra cup of coffee she happened to have with her. "Afternoon, Liz. Funny meeting up with you here."

"Hey, Sam," Elizabeth said, grinning. She took the coffee gratefully, nodding her thanks. "I'm here to show my school spirit supportness. Or something."

"Hee. I'm just here to see how long it takes Janet to punch a cheerleader," Sam grinned back, stretching out on the bleachers.

Elizabeth giggled. "I really hope she has more self control than that," she said, sipping her coffee thoughtfully.

"Wouldn't that be nice? Still, she's being forced to be perky and wear a very short skirt. This doesn't bode well, although it does remind me that I need to send Daniel a picture." Sam Carter? Evil? Naah.

Elizabeth opened her bag and oulled out a camera. "I just came from photography workshop," she said, her face a picture of innocence.

"How very convenient!" Sam said, equally innocent.

"That's what I thought," Elizabeth said, as she focused the camera to take several shots.

"Those had better not be blackmail photos," grumbled Janet from where she'd sat down to talk to them.

"Not at all," Elizabeth assured her, smiling. "Hey."

"I don't believe you," said Janet, also smiling. "How's it going?"

Re: Audience

[identity profile] notcalledlizzie.livejournal.com 2006-06-07 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Elizabeth stuck her tongue out at her. "I've never had to resort to blackmail. And if I did, I'd do better than pictures of cheerleading," she said, still smiling. "Not too bad. Bit disappointed with the choice of pudding..."

Re: Audience

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2006-06-07 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
"Don't talk to me about pudding," Sam muttered. "I'm just glad I didn't get hit with the pistachio the way Anakin did. I never would have gotten all of those out of the motorcycle."

"What did you and the bike get hit with?" Elizabeth asked curiously.

"Fine, you're just going to embarrass me with them some day down the road instead. Please tell me you didn't get any pictures of me bouncing around like a demented blue and gold kewpie doll." Janet stuck her tongue out at Liz in return. "The pudding yesterday was good, at least. Isabel was hoping for banana, though, but maybe we'll get that tomorrow."

"No, I didn't," Elizabeth promised. "Ew. I won't be going outside if it is, which isn't good considering I have to be for my workshop. I'd rather have French vanilla or lemon."

"I heard that," said Janet, escaping from the miasma of cheerleaderyness for the moment. She plopped down on the bleachers, facing Sam and Liz, and tried tugging her cheerleading skirt down. "I would never punch anyone. I'd wait and get a more subtle form of revenge. Which I am absolutely not planning on doing, of course, because I would never do something like that either."

Janet smiled. Innocently. And immediately changed the subject. "So, which do you prefer, the dorms or the cabins?"

Re: Audience

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2006-06-07 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'm not sure," Sam frowned. "They both have their good points." Even if the privacy back at the dorms was definitely a perk the cabins didn't have.

"Being outside was nice, but you had to get up really early in our cabin to get a hot shower," said Janet. "Parker was surprisingly amenable to rooming with other people, though."

Re: Audience

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2006-06-07 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
"Good for Parker," Sam nodded approvingly. "My cabin was pretty good about that, but I got the impression a lot of us didn't spend every night in the cabin."

"She's a lot more social than she was when the school year first started. But let's not tell her I said that," said Janet, looking around for Parker. "Ah, no. It's not really very private in that way, is it?"
