Gym - after lunch

CD-player and mats were in place, as Buffy waited for the other cheerleaders to arrive. She was hoping Alec would be better today, the poor sick kitty. She kept glancing towards the bleachers like she was waiting for someone.

Once some/all the cheerleaders had arrived, she got up.

"Next Saturday is the first Gremlins game!" Buffy announced, beaming. "So we have to start practicing really, really hard!"

Buffy grabbed some pom-poms and showed off some motions (http://thecheerstartshere.com/motion.html), before smiling brightly and telling everyone else to try it.

Janet unenthusiastically took some pom-poms and tried to copy Buffy.

She did a pretty decent job with the motions, though. Halfway through, she smiled ruefully at herself. "So, how'd I look?" she asked.

Pippi grabbed some pom-poms and shook them. They made a cool sound.

She did the motions as Buffy had demonstrated... At some point she degenerated into Semaphore (http://www.anbg.gov.au/flags/semaphore.html).

Still looked good though.

Molly carefully mimicked the motions and watched the others carefully as they all tried it to make sure she was doing everything correctly.

Marie practiced with ease. Some of the movements were a little different than they'd done at her junior high, but it was familiar enough that she felt comfortable and confident.

D played follow the leader rather well save for that her arms weren't always as straight as they should be and it was possible that her motions were smaller, less articulate copies of Buffy's originals.

Tyler suggested a game every 6 weeks or so until we get bored, which I'm down with. That means the next game'll be on the 29th of July, however, and then I'm in Toronto for a fanfic convention, but hopefully one of the co-captains can cover for me, while Buffy goes to visit her dad or something.

This'll be the last practice before the weekend, 'cause I'm headed to London tomorrow. There'll be another next wednesday, and possibly friday, in between there please have your characters practicing on their own?

And, uh, I forgot to askinate D yesterday, so we'll have to go with this. Next game can be better. *nodnods*
