Pippi had intended to make breakfast this morning, but she slept in and had cheer practice.

So, pancakes for lunch.

"True," Peter admitted with a laugh. "Very, very true. 'Sword Club' is just so...flippant though. One shouldn't be flippant with weapons."

"Hmmm, what would you call it then?"

"That's the problem," Peter replied. "I have no other ideas. It'll probably end up being called 'Sword Club' in the end through my complete lack of inspiration."

"'Sword Club' isn't bad." she said, "It's short and to the point... Like some swords."

Peter grinned. "True that. Though I prefer a longsword myself."

"Most of my experience is with cutlasses." she nodded, "But... I think I told you that already."

"Indeed," Peter said with a nod. "I think it led to a pirate joke last time, so I'll restrain myself now."

"Awww, I'm almost disappointed." she grinned.

"I can't use up all my material at once," Peter protested. "This is a long summer, you know."

"Oh I thought it all came off the cuff." she said, "Like that stuff called 'wit'."

"It does, of course," Peter said. "But even the finest ink runs dry if it's overused."

"Sounds like something my old 'babysitters' used to say." she observed.

She flipped a few pancakes.

"So I was thinking of taking Old Man out for a ride later today."

Which, ironically, happened to be something else she old 'babysitters' used to say.

"Indeed?" Peter asked with a grin. "I've not seen him around lately."

"He likes to laze around in his room." Pippi said rolling her eyes. "I'm concerned he's got to fat to get out the door."

Peter shook his head. "You definitely should take him out for a ride. Mind if I come watch? It's been too long since I was around a horse."

"You can do better then watch if you like." she nodded. "Why didn't you bring your own horse may I ask?"

Peter shrugged. "My guardian asked me not too. My brother's making sure he's exercised and such at home. I can't imagine he'd be too happy here. He's used to so much more space. I suppose it's for the best." He grinned. "But I accept your offer whole-heartedly."

"That's to bad. I suspect Old Man wouldn't be so lazy if there were other horses around to... horse around with."

Peter laughed. "You don't think the administration would be displeased by a pair of frolicing horses in the Park?"

"As long as they didn't disturb anybody I don't see why they would."

"I may be new still," Peter said. "But this is still Fandom. How long do you think it would be before they got up to some type of horsey hijinks?"

"You mean like... Eating somebody's garden?"

"Yes, eat someone's prized magical turnips and then turn into trolls or something."

"That would be a problem I suppose... Though I think Old Man would make a very mellow troll."
