5th floor Commonroom: Saturday Afternoon (After cheer practice)

Pippi had intended to make breakfast this morning, but she slept in and had cheer practice.

So, pancakes for lunch.

The tele is on...

We're Immature Radioactive Samurai Slugs
We love to thrash criminals and slice 'n' dice thugs!
We're totally radical, gnarly dudes,
Cowabunga homeboys with nothin' to lose ...

Our arch-enemies want us iodized
But they can't beat us 'cause we're merchandised!

(Iodizer: "DESTROY THEM!!")

Count off!

    Picasso!
    Warhol!
    Rockwell!
    Grandma Moses!

So kick back, dweebs, it's the end of our rhyme,
The show's gonna start and it's time to slime!

Following his nose, Peter ended up in the Common Room. He grinned when he saw Pippi. "Good afternoon! What are you cooking?"

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"Absolutely," Peter said. "They smell wonderful. Anything I can do to help?"

Peter looked at the bowl with slight concern. "Certainly." He tried to crack an egg on the counter like his mum used to. Except that he forgot the part about eggs being fragile. Ooh, look, smashed egg. He looked around for a rag to clean it up.

Peter made a face. "That's how Mum did it. I think." He tried again, much more gently and was able to get the egg into the bowl this time. Fishing out a few pieces of shell, he grinned back at Pippi. "No, I can handle this part. And I'm completely sure I wouldn't be able to flip them."

Peter cracked another egg and got most of it into the bowl. "Setsuna and I finally got a real salle established this week for swordwork. I've been a bit too excited about that most of the week."

"I think so," Peter replied. "Though it's going to need a better name than Sword Club."

Hermione is wandering around at the moment, and ends up on the fifth floor. She frowns at the television for a moment, but gives a "Hello," anyway.

Joxer wandered into the common room and tilted his head at the TV. "Sometimes, I really don't get this thing."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"True," Peter admitted with a laugh. "Very, very true. 'Sword Club' is just so...flippant though. One shouldn't be flippant with weapons."

"Good day, Hermione," Peter greeted her with a small bow and a grin. "How goes it?"

"I don't think we have, either," she says. "I'm Hermione. Late breakfast?"

[identity profile] joxertehmighty.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Joxer sniffed for a second. "Whatever you're cooking, it smells great," he said.

[personal profile] smartestone 2006-06-24 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hello, Peter," she greets him with a smile. "I'm... good. How are you?" Good is relative.

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter tilted his head with concern at the hesitation over 'good' but didn't comment. He made a face in response to her question and looked down at the mess on the counter. "I'm learning that cracking eggs? Harder than it looks."

[identity profile] joxertehmighty.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Joxer scratched the side of his nose, and mulled over a thought for a few seconds before greeting Hermione.

"I don't know you," he said. "Hi."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-06-24 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"I think that feeling is universal," Peter said with a nod. "Good day."
