3rd Floor Common Room, Tuesday Late Morning/Early Afternoon
Matilda had woken up a bit late craving pancakes. She had brought along a fairly large box of pancake mix because her mother knew it was her very favorite food. She even had a gigantic bottle of syrup to go along with it. She decided to make some before class. (Un)fortunately she got a bit carried away and made way more than she could eat. She waited around and left the griddle on in case she could find a few people to eat her leftovers.
((ooc: Free until about 1:30 eastern time, gone for class for an hour then back again for the rest of the night))

"Free food?" he guessed, a very small current of hope underlying his voice.

"That's Pup," Walter said, after swallowing a bite of pancake. "He's friendly."

sinusesface. It was amazing he didn't wag his bum right off for as fast as his tail was moving.Walter settled back in a chair and put his feet up on the coffee table. "I'm Walter, and I'd definitely remember if I'd seen you before."

[[ this is my assuming hellpuppy spit is a-okay for contact with human skin, as I'm not particularly keep on hellpuppy lore ;) ]]

Walter watched the spectacle and laughed. "You don't have to let him do that, you know?"
[ooc: You're safe. Hellpuppy saliva is just icky in that "oh man, there's puppy spit in my nose," sort of way. Otherwise, Walter wouldn't permit it.]

After Pup's frantic wagging had slowed a little, Walter spoke up again. "It looks as though you're a bit of an animal lover."

Conversation was distracting from cute doggy...

"You should take Cross Species Communication next semester, then," Walter suggested, amused by Chad's obvious distraction.
It was probably a good thing that most people here didn't know they were petting a piece of Dracula.
