The 3rd floor Common Room Thursday Evening 9/14

Lavender is cooking up a storm. It had all started when she decided it was her turn to cook after all the free food she’d eaten in the common rooms since she arrived in Fandom. But it looks like she got a little carried away.

On the table is a tray piled with Cornish pasties, a large bowl of mashed potatoes, a plate of fried tomatoes, another bowl filled with peas and carrots, a roast chicken and a pitcher of gravy. She was just leaning down to take out a vegetable casserole and then she was going to put in the Spotted Dick She hoped she'd made enough.

She’d also set out a large pitcher of pumpkin juice.

Damnit I left the fudge in my room! she thought to herself, wiping her hands on her apron.

[ooc:Open as open can be I shall be SP until about 5:25 Eastern]

"Seriously? Is she a teacher, too?"

"Nope. Student. Alanna Trebond. Redhead with the sword, and the talking cat." Parker rolled her eyes. "Time travel blows."

"Time travel." Weiss furrowed, cocked his head, and then relaxed. Those who hung out with him excessively might come to name this the Weiss Freakish Information Assimilation, or the Weiss Maneuver, or Operation: Dr. Weiss -- if they ever bothered. "Cool."

Parker laughed. "Cool?" She rolled her eyes. "It gives me a headache. What could be and can't be and might be and... it's like a multiple choice test, without knowing what e or a or c is supposed to be."

"Hey, if it works it works. If it doesn't, I think we all cease to exist in some weird time paradox blip thing. I'm running on the assumption that it works," Eric said. "'sides, it'd be cool to go back and see, like, Led Zeppelin in concert. Or Stevie Ray Vaughan."

"Oooo," Parker said, caught by this idea. "Tourism through time. Someone could make a killing on that. One way or another."
