Third Floor Common Room, Saturday Evening

After finishing her homework for the week, Dawn went to the common room and decided to indulge herself. She had a bowl of rainbow sherbet and was flipping through channels.

Oooh, kittens! Or, well, lions, but baby ones. She watched happily, although an occasional "awww, kitty..." escaped.

"I don't either usually unless it's an emergency. But I'm almost 16 now and I think Dad wanted to see how good I am." He lowered his voice. "Sammy said that Dad's going to give me the car so maybe he's just checking out how ready I am."
