Outside Hunting Class, 7th period

Lurking outside hunting class is a rawhead, a monster covered in dark matted hair and holding a sign that says 'I can be your friend!'. The costume is convincing, but if you watch the rawhead long enough you might be able to see it bounce.

Blair grinned under the mask and gave another small bounce. The costume had come in yesterday and luckily it was big enough that he could wear it over his cast. He practiced his growls and grunting while he waited for the students to show up. "Grrrr. GRRRR! Grrr."

Nadia turned serious. "I'm not kidding, Blair. I might deserve detention for pushing you around like that, but I'm not going to let you, or anyone else, call me things like that. I'd like an apology."

Blair knew that he needed to apologize, but he was still pissed about Nadia pushing him. "I didn't call you anything until after you pushed me so you apologize first. Otherwise, you can go tell on me and I'll take detention gladly."

"I pushed you because you said I dressed like a slut, and continued to say that I did when I was obviously unhappy with you saying that."

"No. I said that people might stereotype you as a slut because of how you dressed."

"Which implies that you think I dress like a slut."

"It does not."

"It does. Why would you assume that other people would say that I'm a slut if you don't think that my outfit is slut-like?"

"Does not." Blair rolled his eyes behind the mask. "I was discussing stereotypes. I can't help it if you got all defensive and took it personally!"

"You said I looked like a slut! Then when I got upset, you said I was protesting too much, as if that meant I was hiding the fact that I was a slut. Which I'm not."

"I did not! And you were protesting an awful lot. If you weren't worried about it then you shouldn't have taken it so seriously!"

"Yes you did! And I was protesting because you were saying that I dress like a slut, and that's really rude and I'm not going to let people talk to me like that!"

Nadia's fists balled up and she had to shove them into her pockets to resist the urge to throw a punch.

"DID NOT!" Blair's stomp of frustration ended up being more of bounce.

Nadia's arms twitched and for a moment, it probably seemed like she was going to forget controlling herself and throw a punch after all. Then she took a step back instead. "I'm not having this conversation. If you want to apologize, come find me."

And then she turned to walk away.

Nadia's shoulders tensed, but she didn't say anything, just kept walking.
