Second Floor Common Room - Later Sunday Evening

The Common Room had been hung with bright streamers and different glittery signs.  One big banner was across the far wall of the room saying "WE SURIVIVED" in big block letters.

There was several different varieties of food below the banner from Chinese to pizza to sandwiches to chips and dip and vegetables along with a big cake from J, GOB with a blue and yellow gremlin on it.

Music was playing, and an air of general celebration - or was it relief - pervaded the room.

[OOC: After all the parents, guardians, journey guides, and other assorted relatives and friends have left the island.  Minor OCD coming up is up]

"I think it would be a very sad day if this place failed in the crazy and bizarre department," Mac commented. "I can manage an insane weekend around here, even without throwing my parents in to the mix."

"I would have much preferred zombies," Isabel laughed. "Having Max here was way too stressful."

"Families really can do that," Mac agreed. "Stress is part of the package. I'll keep them over the brain eating monsters though. The snowmonsters were bad enough, and they didn't want to eat us... I don't think, anyway."

"True, sort of," she agreed. "I think Max thought I had had my brain sucked for wanting to stay. He thinks this place is dangerous."

"He's probably right," Mac said shrugging. "And yet, I'm like you, I wouldn't want to leave. Another great reason behind keeping my parents far, far away."

"Well now that he knows the truth, he'll definitely help me keep our folks far, far away," Isabel laughed. "It'll make things much easier for all of us."

"I brought my brother out here, and he'd go straight home and tell my parents everything," Mac said shaking her head. "You're really lucky yours will work with you on that."

"We've got secrets of our own we're keeping from our parents," she said, a bit sadly. "I'm just lucky that that worked in my favor and I was able persuade him to let me stay."

"I think we all do in our way," Mac said. "I'm definitely glad he didn't make you go home though. We've had enough nice people leaving Fandom lately, just wouldn't do to lose you too."

"Thanks Mac," Isabel smiled. "I'm glad to be staying. And I have no plans to leave anytime soon."

Mac grinned, "That's good to know. 'Cause, considering the bi-semesterly invasions? Can't imagine what would make you want to leave."
