Second Floor Common Room - Later Sunday Evening

The Common Room had been hung with bright streamers and different glittery signs. One big banner was across the far wall of the room saying "WE SURIVIVED" in big block letters.

There was several different varieties of food below the banner from Chinese to pizza to sandwiches to chips and dip and vegetables along with a big cake from J, GOB with a blue and yellow gremlin on it.

Music was playing, and an air of general celebration - or was it relief - pervaded the room.

[OOC: After all the parents, guardians, journey guides, and other assorted relatives and friends have left the island. Minor OCD ~~coming up~~ is up]

"I told him about my training and my friends and Leia visiting and how much you had helped me with my father and about Vader," Luke babbled.

Rory looked panicked. "Did you tell him about me and your dad? I mean, that we were...together?"

"...was I not supposed to?"

Rory facepalmed. "Luuuuuuuuuuuuuke."

"What difference can it possibly make now?" Luke asked.

"He could go tell the ghost of Master Windu, and then Master Windu will just...do a little, 'I was right!' dance!" said Rory.

Luke reached out his hand to rest against Rory's forehead.

Rory frowned at him. "Luke. We kept it secret for like...almost a year."

She smiled a little. "Did he know?"

Luke thought back to Ben's reaction. "No." He bit his lip. "I'm sorry."

Rory laughed slightly hysterically. "We win!"

"Are you okay?" Luke asked, nudging Rory's shoulder worriedly.

"Yes," Rory laughed. "It just makes me laugh because he actually believed it. I didn't think we could possibly have fooled him, or that he must have figured it out after time, but we won."

"He seemed pretty surprised," Luke said, nodding.

"I'd love to talk to him," Rory said, calming down a little.

She stopped, completely still. "...do all Jedi become ghosts?" she asked softly.

"I don't know," Luke answered just as softly. "I suppose it's possible."

And if Luke was suddenly looking around the room, searching for a particular face, well, no one could blame him.

"I suppose I wouldn't be able to see, huh?" she asked quietly.

Luke shook his head, then gave Rory's hand a quick squeeze. "He's not here," he said quietly. "Either of them."

"You'll tell me if you see him?" she asked, not specifying which man she meant.

"You'll be the first," Luke promised, giving her hand another squeeze.

"What else did he have to talk about?" Rory asked, putting on a smile.

"He was pleased I'd found people to train me," Luke said. "He was not as pleased that Vader was here."

"I bet he could kick Vader's ass. Even as a ghost."

"Um," Luke said, thinking back to the duel on the Death Star and that smirk on Ben's face just before the end. "Maybe."

"Is he going to help you?" she asked worriedly.

Luke shrugged. "He was a little vague." Huge surprise, that.
