Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds
There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.
I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!
So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

Rabbit season!The troll was immune to such logic by virtue of having approximately enough logic brain cells to power the standard snap pea.
And a nice, biiiig, club. Which it swung a the ugly squishy thing that wanted to spring like it's mum's fleas.

Rabbit season!Parlay was way too big a word for Grxyzxt. He tried to grab the bouncy thing with two fingers, because that's what you do with fleas.

Thus is she shocked into silence as she wings by above Pippi's head.

She's otherwise occupied with the fact that the troll is picking her up. She makes a startled squeaking noise and wriggles in its grasp.
The troll might notice that she suddenly gets heavier then she just was, but not nearly so heavy that it has any sort of trouble holding her up.

Pippi starts kicking with all her might at the roof of the troll's mouth and scratching at the hand that's holding her.
