Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

The song was in male-troll-ese, but roughly translated it was . . . about pillaging and rampaging, of course.

Nadia came running outside, gun in one hand, mallet in the other. She'd headed straight for the weapons locker as soon as she'd heard the principal's announcement.

Big things you got to beat on and kill, attacking the town? She could use something to burn off some steam. . . .

Oooo, look, they were attacking the school.

Anders had gone and raided the weapons locker as soon as he heard the announcement, and pelted down toward the gates.

This was probably a really, really dumb idea.

But dammit, he was bored.

After the obligatory run to the weapons locker, Sam knelt behind one of the trees and used it for cover as she shot at the nearest trolls with her P-90, her 9 mm loaded and in a holster at her side.

Walter... had a gun? He hadn't used the one Alfred had given him for his birthday. At least not outside the firing range.

However, the gun was currently firmly tucked away in its wrist holster because cutting things up was ever so much more fun.

Bel shimmered from town to the school gates. Surprise, surprise, more trolls here. He was still in demon form, panting and ready to fight some more.

After dealing with the trolls at Empire Records, Aeryn is planning on bringing John back, alerting the people in charge, and getting help. So she's a little surprised to see them already at the school.

"Frell," she says, and decides she might be better off with her other weapon. So she takes the gauntlet, slaps it around her forearm, and winces a little as the needles dig into her skin. Hadn't been expecting that.

Well of *course* Bridge went and raided the weapons locker as soon as he'd heard the announcement. If there's things to fight, he's going to fight them. It's what he does.

Bart liked singing and he joined in for a while, even though most of the words were wrong. Which is probably why he missed seeing the trooper at first.

The shot from the blaster singed his stick and he glared at the trooper. "No hurt Bart, Toy! Why not stay? Why be bad?"

The trooper got off another shot but Bart barely flinched before knocking the trooper out and heading, once again, towards the manor.

Returning from the beach (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1249994.html?thread=56558794#t56558794), Billy saw that the Trolls had finally reached the school. He sheathed his sword across his back and pulled his 9mm. He took aim at the back of the nearest Troll's knees and fired twice.

Finally. A use for those damn grenades she bought ages ago! Grabbing the four she had, and her 9mm and .Sig, Parker went down to the gates with everyone else.

Tyler's instinct was to fight with his fists, but that wouldn't work. He quickly adapted the marshmallow gun he had made in science-exclamation-point and loaded it with jagged rocks and chunks of concrete, which he aimed at the nearest troll.

Buffy was following the sounds of mayhem and it was possible that she was skipping a little. But only a little! Because evil things in Fandom! Bad. Yes. She got down to the gates and stared. Then she looked down at the stake in her hand. "...Wow, how I want a sword right now."

Peter had run down to the weapons locker when he heard the principal's announcement. There he ran into Zuko who was also grabbing swords and they headed up to the school grounds.

Trolls? This would be perfectly fine. Right?

Pip made a mental note as he walked out onto the grounds with an assault rifle to bug Walter about his M-16.

As soon as he heard the Principal's announcement Draco headed down to the weapons locker. Draco ran out onto the school grounds, a wand in one hand and a bat in the other. He figured if Potter could take down a troll as a first year it really couldn't be that hard.

Of course as soon as he saw a troll he realized that this was probably the dumbest thing he's ever done.

After hearing the announcement Teddy grabbed his cricket bat and headed for the school grounds. He didn't think the bat would do much good, but it was worth a shot.

Pippi was on her way to the store to meet Nadia and River when she noticed some ugly creatures singing about eating babies.

Pippi was never a fan of veal. Particularly "long pork" veal...

The announcement had been made and Alphonse in no way wanted to ignore it, but on the other hand... it was something dangerous coming for them. He was pretty sure that anyone who could would be out here, if previous events proved anything, so he decided to assist if he could.

Then he arrived, and a "holy crap" may have popped into mind.

Gwynn had no idea what a troll was, but she did understand that something was attacking the school.

And that just wasn't allowed.

She made a stop by the weapons locker to get her bow and her sword, and then she did what any daughter of Robin Hood would do.

She waded directly into the fray, firing arrows as she moved.

After getting flung over the heads of every single thread I could get permission on all the other combatants, Nadia finally landed with a bounce, a skid, and a roll into a wall.

That troll should try out for a midget tossing team or something. Or attend the Highland games. He had one hell of an arm.

Speaking of . . . Nadia slowly rolled over and raised her hand to her left shoulder.

Definitely out of joint again.

Trolls sucked.

Jude was staring. There were trolls between him and the school and, unlike the more heroic-types, Jude wanted very much to be in the school. He had nothing but his skateboard.

Oh, this was not going to be a ball of fun at all.

Maybe he could sneak around them . . .
