Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

The fireball hit square and the troll was really getting tired of these orange balls. Of course, he didn't get much time to think on that when the swords came down on his arms, delimbing him and turning him to stone.

Two trolls converged on Zuko, one swinging his rather large and sharp tail at Zuko's midsection.

Peter was able to twist to deflect part of the force of the troll's hand though he still stumbled back a few feet and lost him breath.

The trolls growled and attempted to surround both Zuko and Peter in a tight circle.

The tail knicked Zuko's arm, but he brought down one of his blades on it as he was forced back towards Peter. "They stink," Zuko growled as he fended off the trolls.

One troll quickly turned to stone and another walked right over the remains of the dead troll.

"Not smelly," it groaned.

"Oh, very smelly," Peter replied to the troll as he backed up towards Zuko so they ended back to back. He pulled his shield up to protect both his offside and Zuko's back and lashed out at the nearest troll with his blade.

The troll moved, catching the blade on the arm and yowling in pain. In turn, he swung back, aiming a kick towards Peter's legs.

Zuko kept his back against Peter's as he hit out at the troll in front of him, making a slash to his side and one to his arm.

The slashes connected, slowing the troll but not enough to prevent the troll from stopping the kick that was aimed at Zuko's knees.

The kick caught Peter just below the knee and he lost his balance for half a second, but pivoted on his good knee and sent a sword thrust towards the chest of the troll that kicked him.

"Kicking's awfully gauche, don't you think."

The troll, of course, didn't get a chance to respond as the sword to the chest sent him into a stoney grave.

Others are already moving toward them, some having picked up crude weapons such as rocks and tree branches.

Zuko couldn't exactly jump back from the kick as he had his back against Peter's. He did however hit the limb with both his swords. The trolls however were getting a bit too close to his liking.

"Duck!" Zuko shouted at Peter.

The troll lost his leg and it subsequently turned to stone. The trolled hopped closer to Zuko, scowling and eyes gleaming dangerously.

Peter thrust up once more at a troll then ducked at Zuko's shout.

Peter's thrust struck the troll and sent it reeling backwards. He heard Zuko's shot and looked around for the duck animal.

Zuko swung his blades at the troll's neck, but he followed the swing into a circle, creating a circle of fire all around them to drive the trolls back.

One troll crumpled into a heap of stone and the rest were drive back by the sudden ring of fire. A few were stupid enough to try and walk through it.

They paid for that by ending up on fire and screaming in pain.

Peter hoped the trolls were so distracted by being on fire that they didn't notice him stand up and aim his sword right through the closest's torso.

Another troll turned to stone after being struck by Peter's sword. Again, they tried to move closer but the fire still burned and they were stuck, separated.

Zuko dropped the fire, but he didn't give the trolls much time to recover as he jumped forward, and brought his dual blades down each on one troll.

One of Zuko's blades caught a troll in the chest, sending him crumbling into stone. The other left a troll arm-less. That didn't make him happy at all.

"Nuisance!" He'd been called that enough by the females.

Peter heard the troll and couldn't help snickering even as he took a step forward to slice at another troll.

It wasn't the first time Zuko had been called that either. Transfering both blades to one hand, he thrust his sword forward while he send a flame to the next troll beside him with his free hand.

Two slices, two stoned trolls. The fire burned another, set his arm on fire and the troll tried to use that, sending his flaming limb at Zuko and Peter.

Peter was really disturbed by the burning arm used as a melee weapon. So he tried to cut it off.
