Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

[ooc: minor ocd going up Game on!]

Jude tried another zag. And he would gotten away with it, too, if not for that meddling patch of mud which sent him sliding out of control, windmilling frantically.

Jude hit the ground with a loud "Oof!", his skateboard shooting off into the night. He scrambled backwards, tripping over his feet as he tried to get to his feet and couldn't make it.

Jude hit the ground hard, rolling twice before lying still on his stomach, gasping for breath and with his leg at an odd angle. He had to squeeze his eyes shut against tears of pain. Oh yeah. Jude definitely wasn't boarding anywhere for a while.

For the most part, Chad's tactic was simply a lot like what he had used in his bar fight; just clear shit out of the way. While he was doing so, though, he kept an eye out for anyone who might need something specifically cleared out of the way.

In the corner of his eye, he caught a certain skinny skateboy fly past and hit the ground. Quickly tossing away a troll in much the manner Jude had been tossed, Chad turned to get a better look. Oh, man. That looked bad. Real bad. He hurried over to help.

"Jude, man, you okay?" he asked, kneeling beside him, armoured arm flexed and ready to deflect any troll that might try to interupt the quick exchange.

"Chad, dude," Jude gasped, trying to sit up. "Busted my leg . . . troll's still after me . . ." He hissed in pain, his eyes watering.

Well, the troll would discover a new play thing, possible new cuddlething. He stood from where he kneeled down next to Jude, squaring his shoulders, slightly flexing his armoured arm.

Shit. He should have brought his helmet with him, too. Oh, well.

Chad stood there, challenging the troll to make his next move.

Chad lunged for the troll, pulling his arm back and swinging it forward, hoping for the chance to hit it well before it tried to hit him.

Chad exchanged his usual punch to the face with a kick to face, followed by a quick uppercut to the chin with his right hook. It should be powerful enough to send the troll up a bit and, Chad hoped, down in the ground.

The ground-shaking think cause Chad off guard a bit, bracing himself as he tried not to lose his balance. He grunted, thoughtfully. Probably with trolls was not much to grab onto for throwing. He clenched his teeth together, tried to channel all his strength into his arm, holding it back, ready to strike once the troll stood up.

Okay, troll snot was mostly very gross. Chad grunted, shook the goo out of his hair before it dripped into his eyes. It was on now.

The charged arm swing, and hit, with a well-timed release of the spirit energy to strike the troll particularly hard. It sent the troll straight back with incredible force.

Jude blinked at the unconscious troll, and then up at Chad. ". . . dude. That was . . . whoa." He tried to struggle upright and collapsed again, hissing in pain.

The troll was definately down, but Chad couldn't celebrate yet. He jutted his chin in the air almost as if sniffing for more trolls that might attack before returning to Jude to check on him. "Try not to move," he instructed, carefully taking into account how Jude collapsed back as a way of locating an idea of where the injuries were and, therefor, the best way to pick him up without hurting him, which just so happened to be craddling him close to his chest. "Sorry 'bout the snot. Let's get you some help. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/242171.html?thread=6701819#t6701819)"
