Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

The brothers stood their ground and easily deflected Peter's attempt at a shoulder block.

"Silly human boy."

"Ow ow ow," Peter said, staggering off to the side, trying to get a little distance. "Okay, Peter, that was a bad idea. Um, so you guys are trolls, right?"

"We trolls," one confirmed, reaching out and digging one heavy hand into Peter's shoulder.

Peter tried to duck, but the troll still hit him, knocking him down. He turned that into a roll through the troll's legs, giving him a moment. "So I'm a bit of a geek. I've read enough fantasy novels to know that you have a weakness to iron."

"Geek," Hesh repeated, pointing at Peter. "Geek geek geek."

"Wow. Original," Peter said, rushing in to kick Hesh in the knee. His voice turned undeservedly fierce. "Anyway, I wanted you to know that I know about this weakness and yet I don't have any iron on me! What do you think of that?"

"Shut up," Kesh said, swinging his arm down onto Peter's shoulder.

"Ugh," Peter said, taking the hit, rolling back with it, and springing up with a mule kick to Kesh's stomach. "I was hoping irony would work, too. Guess not."

The trolls have no idea what Peter's talking about.

"You speak in tongues," one said and threw his cudgel at Peter.

"Read a book," Peter said, ducking the cudgel. In what could either be a brilliant or idiotic move, Peter reached up and used his powers to grab onto the cudgel. "Looks like I have a weapon now. A weapon that is as big as me, but still."

Peter swung the cudgel at Kesh's side.

Having his own weapon used against him did not make Kesh a happy troll. He yelped in pain and tried to swipe the cudgel back from Peter while Hesh swung his own cudgel at Peter's arms.

Peter ducked back, throwing the cudgel at Hesh's head. "Whoops! Sorry!"

"Stop it," they both grunted. Hesh reached for Peter's shirt, trying to get a hold of him for easy beatdowns.

"Say please," Peter said, flipping back and punching Hesh in the face. "For example, please fall down!"

Kesh actually said, "please," and snarled when Peter went back on the offensive.

"Little pest," he grunted, aiming a kick low to Peter's shin.

"Was that so hard?" Peter asked, jumping over the kick and swinging a two-fisted blow at Kesh's face.

Hesh and Kesh hated thsi little human boy.

"No more playing," Hesh said and threw himself at Peter.

"Are you sure?" Peter said, jumping to dodge and coming down with a dropkick on Hesh's back. "I have Monopoly in my room if you want to play a bit more."

This little annoyance was...annoying Hesh and Kesh. The females would not be pleased to know they were not doing so well.

"Stop geek," one grunted, throwing several large rocks at Peter's head.

Peter charged the rock-throwing troll, dodging most of the rocks. A couple grazed him, but it didn't slow him down much before he could throw a strong punch at the troll's stomach. "OW!"

Troll stomachs are hard.

Hesh laughed and laughed and threw Peter away from him like a rag doll.

Peter landed on all fours and charged again. "You could have told me not to hit you in the stomach!" He grabbed a rock while on the run and chucked it at Hesh's face, following up with a dropkick to the groin.

Hesh yelped in pain, dropping to his knees and grunting. Kesh came over, attempting to help and Hesh, thinking Kesh was Peter, swung at his brother and connected with his own brother's groin.

"Ouch. That had to hurt." Not wanting to waste the slapstick assist, Peter picked up another rock and swung it at Kesh's face. "This should, too!"

Kesh's screamed in pain, scrabbled blindly at his face and fell over his brother. So, now there's two trolls on the ground, both trying to recover and both hating Peter Parker with the passion of eight thousand trolls.
