Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

"You come back with us," the troll grunted and threw his cudgel at Krycek's head while talking several bullets to the chest and neck.

"I really don't think so," Krycek said grimly, and turned as the cudgel came flying at him, lifting his free arm so that it hit his bicep, hard enough that it'd be largely useless for a while. He was out of bullets on his gun, so he dropped it, pulling his second from the back of his jeans to keep firing.

The troll took several hits off his arm and shoulder and his wounds started turning to stone, slowing him and paining him. Now that he had no weapon, he growled at Krycek and picked up a large rock to hurl at him.
