Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

"Well, mostly. I'm pretty sure having a troll thrown at it made my ankle bend in ways it's totally not supposed to," he says with a wince.

The rocks are mere obstacles, annoyances, and the trolls continued on, clearly wanting these two to stop replicating and talking and everything!

"Okay, lean on my shoulder," Z told Bridge. Her eyes glowed for a moment as she created more replicates to hold off the trolls. "Let the fake mes fight for a while." She just hoped they didn't get beaten up too badly.

Bridge stands up, a little wobbly, and does as instructed. "Okay. Um. Clinic, or something?"

"The clinic is in town," Z pointed out. "Past the trolls."

The trolls blink at the new people and start tangling with them, completing missing that these are not the original Z's.

"I think the trolls are a little too occupied to notice us," Bridge points out.

"Okay then. Let's go," Z said. "To the clinic!" Before they got out of range, though, she turned around and reabsorbed the replicates. It took an act of supreme will not to let on that she was now in rather a lot of pain. All those bumps and bruises added up.
