Saturday evening, just outside the school grounds

There really was something irresistable to the trolls about the giant castle thing at the top of the hill.

I mean, come on! Trolls, castle . . . it was like a match made in heaven!

So, once they'd made lots of good headway pillaging and rampaging through the town, the trolls started on their way up the hill, aimed for the gates to the school, grinning and slathering and singing creepy, troll-y songs of glee.

Seeing a petite, young blonde, Jub was instantly attracted and made his way over to greet her. "H'lo," he said shyly.

"Hi!" said Buffy politely, holding her stake a little more purposefully. She looked around. "Sooo.. You're invading us, huh?"

"Yeh," Jub agreed, grinning somewhat frighteningly, though he thought it was his most charming smile. "We take pretties n' live here."

"You know, I think that's a bad idea," Buffy said, shifting her feet to a more secure stance. "In fact, I'd say I object strongly. Also, dentists are good for you."

Jub cocked his head, confused. "Den'ist?"

Deciding he was just going to take her back to the Manor, he reached for Buffy's arm. She was pretty enough; it didn't matter if she was talking nonsense.

Buffy moved easily out of the way, then moved in closer again, aiming several hard punches at the trolls upper body. She didn't attempt to stake him yet, but she was using the non-pointy bit to hit with.

Jub frowned - even more frighteningly than his smile - and staggered back in surprise as Buffy hit him, not quite going down. "Strong female!"

"Yup! Pretty strong!" Buffy agreed, following up with a swift kick to chest.

With an "OOF", Jub staggered back and fell. He groaned as he picked himself back up, giving Buffy a hurt look. "Not nice." He rushed her, intending to knock her down.

Buffy leaped sideways, but not in time. She fell down, landing on her left arm. That hurt. "Hey! That wasn't nice either!" she complained, rolling around on her back.

"You neith'r!" Jub shouted, trying to stomp her in frustration.

Rolling back and forth, Buffy tried to avoid his feet and get back up on her *own* feet. "You started it!"

"I jus' wanna pretty," Jub complained, still trying to stomp her. When she kept moving, he finally reached for her, so he could carry her off.

Buffy jabbed at him with her stake, aiming for his throat as he leaned over her. "You don't just take pretties! You have to... woo them!" And with that she scrambled back on her feet.
