5th Floor Common Room - Sunday evening dinner and Glögg Party

The fifth floor common room has been decked out for Yule. (That includes jødisk jul.)

Pippi has used the provisions that StuCo has the common room stocked with to make something called "meatloaf". Pippi, being Pippi, has made a mind boggling amount of meatloaf.

She also has a punchbowl out which contains totally non-alcoholic Glögg. (Or "Gløgg" if you're Hamlet.) And she absolutely does not have a several small bottles of akvavit secreted in and among the decorations so people can make their cups more... gloggy.

There's also a spread of nuts, raisins, and gingerbread. Pippi herself is at the stove making æbleskiver.

"Hey Nadia!" Willow said. "That's okay. It can be hard to work up the right amount of phlem if you haven't been to Hebrew school. Hey, congrats on no brace and shirtless boyfriend."

"We could start a petition," Willow said.

"Maybe Blair will help stage a protest."

"Does he have a British boyfriend now too?"

"No, but he's really good at protests. I'm sure he'd be willing to help out."

"Good point," Willow said. "Do you think we'd need to protest long? We are talking about Brits. They'd probably agree just to keep the situation from being too uncomfortable."

"Ooo, good point. If nothing else, I bet Walter and Peter would probably be willing to do it, even if there isn't a law."

"Especially if we use our pouty faces," Willow agreed.

"Oh, definitely. And if they go insane and don't agree, we'll just have to find ways to . . . encourage them."

"I'm all for encouragement," Willow said. "Which reminds me I need to find a way to thank Peter for his wonderful Hanukkah present."

"Oh yeah? What'd he give you?"

"He got together dinner and bought me a Menorah and everything!" Willow said. "There needs to be significant thank yous."

It's possible that Nadia thought a Menorah was some sort of kinky undergarment. "Oooo! Yes, definitely."

"I was thinking maybe outfits," Willow said.

"That's a good thought. Do you need any help picking anything out?"

"There'll need to be shopping," Willow said. "Or at least borrowing."

"I have some stuff, but I don't think we're the same size. Still, a shopping trip could be fun. Are you sticking around for the holidays?"

"Far as I'm aware," Willow said though her mun knew differently "You?"

"Mostly. Walter, Pip, Pippi and I are going to go on a three hour tour boat trip at some point, but other than that, we're just sticking around."

"Nobody's ever home for the holidays anyway," Willow said. "I'd rather stay here where I can be with friends."

Nadia nodded. "And I don't have a home, other than Fandom. Well, we should plan a trip after finals to get stuff, then."

"That would be very fun," Willow said with a smile. "I've never done anything like that. Usually for those occasions I either shop online or spontaneously combust in a fit of embarassment."

"Well, if we do it this way, you avoid setting fire to things, and you get to know it fits and looks nice. Should we invite some other girls along, too?"
