Third Floor Common Room - Thursday Morning

Katara had woken up early and slipped out of her dorm room quietly. She considered going outside for a moment, but she decided to explore the floor she'd ended up on.

Finding herself in a big open room with several couches and tables and quite a few big boxes she had no idea about, she up a small floppy book made out of shiny paper and began to flip through it, looking at the pictures.

"Have you met many people yet?" she wonders.

"Molly is my big sister," Katara replied. "And Chad's my roommate. I like them both a lot. And I already knew Zuko." She wrinkled her nose then waved at the rest of the Common Room. "And everyone in here. It doesn't seem like there should be able to be this many people in the room!"

"It can hold more," Hermione says seriously. "There are times there are so many people inside that I scarcely believe everyone has enough oxygen."

Katara's eyes widened as she looked around. "Wow. It's a good thing everyone's mostly little. Except my roommate."

She nodded. "Oh yes. He was very kind." She grinned. "But then everyone I've met here has been."

"There are of course a few people who won't be," she says. "But overall the people have been very good to get along with. I've managed not to have any problems so far."
