Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

Isabel sat with a drink, absently blowing on a noisemaker not dirty OMG!. "One week down, fifteen more to go?"

Peter grinned. "Exactly. We have to celebrate something. Could have been five weeks since the trolls, I suppose."

"I'll celebrate that. Although I think some people are actually looking forward to the next invasion," she laughed. "Why?"

Peter shook his head. "I have no idea, and I'm a fighter. Who's looking forward to it."

"Nobody specific, but I think some of the new people just want to see if it really happens," Isabel explained. "Not that I blame them. I had a hard time believing at first. And you'd think I wouldn't have a problem with weirdness."

"Ahhh, that makes sense," Peter said with a smile. "I could hardly believe half of what I was told at first. I'm still not sure I believe there was a weekend where you all turned into children."

"There was, I'm pretty sure there's pictures in the yearbook. I can show you one day if you'd like," she offered. "I didn't get out much. I think I was about seven and back that I was still very shy. We'd only been out of the pods a year at the point. Everything was still so new."

"I'll come find you in the library one day," Peter said with a nod. He shook his head. "Worst so far has been the musical one, I think."

Isabel laughed. "Yes, you asked me out!"

Peter blushed. "And kissed Rory."

"Oh don't blush," she teased. "It's not the first and it's certainly not the last time someone's kissed the wrong person while under the influence of Fandom."

"Definitely true," Peter said with a laugh. "But hopefully I can avoid that for quite some time."

"I haven't done it yet and hopefully I'll continue to avoid it," Isabel said, then facepalmed. "Of course now that I've completely jinxed myself..."

Peter snickered. "Yes, now there's going to be a class this week that requires you to or something."

"Considering my classes, I'm almost afraid to consider what cracked out thing would make that happen."

"What classes are you taking?" Peter asked.

"Revolutions, Hunting, Gods and You, Survival Tactics and Villians," Isabel listed. "So you can see where I'd worry."

Peter's eyes went wide. "Perhaps you'll be taught how to kiss someone into helping with a revolution?" He tried not to laugh too much.

"Actually I was thinking more of Survival Tactics. You know, close your eyes, think of England and kiss the slimy alien," she snickered.

Peter couldn't stop laughing at that. "As long as you're thinking of England."

Isabel threw a pretzel at him. "Yup, the mother country. Tea, biscuits, and warm beer."

Peter caught the pretzel and ate it. "Thank you! I was wanting one."

After trying to catch the first one or two, Peter decided the best defence was a good offence and started throwing hershey kisses back at her.

"Yummy!" Isabel gleed. The best part of alien powers? It made it very easy to catch all the chocolate.
