Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

Faithful sighed. "I've had worse days."

"Did they include the Halloween party?" Peter asked.

"I'm blocking that memory from my mind." Faithful said with a shudder.

Peter laughed. "Good luck." He looked back at Alanna. "How are your classes going, Madam President?"

Alanna blushed. "Aside from DAMM? Great! Yours?"

"...DAMM?" Peter asked. "Two of mine are great. I'm not excited about engineering...or Home Ec."

"Defense against magical msomething." Alanna didn't burst out laughing, really. "So which two are great?"

"Tactics and Villainy - which seems to be mainly about justice so far," Peter replied, trying to frown at her for the laughter, but almost laughing himself. "Really! I don't need to know how to cook!"

"I'm fairly sure I'm in both those class with you. And I'm not laughing at you. Trust me, if you've ever tried my cooking you'd know why I was laughing."

Peter grinned. "Believe me, I'm the same way. I can manage sausages and potatoes over a fire, and that's it."

"...impressive," Peter said. "How do you manage that?"

Alanna pouted. "No."
