Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

"I'm *this* close to paying a gremlin to come out and proove that we're not all insane."

"I've finally seen gremlins!" Molly said excitedly. "Some came and sang with Alec in music class on Friday. They were cute."

Alanna frowned. "You never saw gremlins before?"

Molly shook her head. "Not like, a real one. In person," she said. "I saw the one wrapped up as baby Jesus in the Christmas Pageant from last year. And then the giant gremlin balloon that attacked graduation. Oh, and the time Nadia turned into one during the basketball game. But, that is it."

"Hunh. I guess they were more common during our first term here."

"Yeah. Ever since they brought in those exterminators last year."

"I'm sure there's a few people who were very happy to see them leave."

Molly nodded. "I was here when the support group meeting all got bitten. I missed seeing the results, but I heard about it."

"I ran into Phoebe who thought she was a dog. There may have been screaming on my part."

Molly giggled. "Is it wrong that I kind of want there to be more gremlins again so that I can laugh at people who get bit?"
