Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

Alanna picked up Faithful from the couch, tinsel still on his colar. "Hey Faithful, you have a fan." "Of course I do."

"Talking cats are cool," Cassie said. "Unless of course all he does is demand things. Which I'm sure isn't you, right, Faithful?"

Faithful looked very innocent. "Of course not." Alanna scritched the cat. "He's a good kitty."

"Well, then he's the best cat ever," Cassie said.

Faithful beamed. "That he is." Alanna said with a grin.

"Can I pet him?" Cassie asked. "Or should I be asking him?"

Faithful purred. "I'm totally pettable." "He's in a good mood, usually he gets annoyed when you ask for permission to pet him."

"Oh," Cassie said, before reaching to scritch at one of Faithful's ears. "So, how was your first week?"

"Fairly good. DAMM is the strangest class ever, but otherwise good. Yours?"

"I'm having fun in all of them. Superheroing is going to be a lot of fun, I think," Cassie said.
