Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

{OOC: Isabel modded with permission.  Have fun modding the party favours and games and food available!]

"Hey," Kawalsky greeted.

"Hey dude!" says Dick to the guy he doesn't know. "I'm Dick Casablancas."

"I'm Charlie Kawalsky," Kawalsky replied. "Welcome to our big ol' party. Free food's always a good thing around here. Where you from, Dick?"

"I'm always up for free food." says Dick. "I'm from Neptune, California."

"Heeey, that's Mars, Echolls and Mackenzie territory."

"Yes it is!" says Dick "Don't let the amount of transfers fool you; it's really not that bad of a town."

"It's in Cali and it's by the beach, so I figured it can't be all bad. You here by choice, or one of those 'it's for your own good' deals?"

"Oh definitely 'it's for your own good'!" says Dick "It was the usual. Bad grades, too much partying. It could have been worse I suppose. The people here are nice to the new kids, which is more than I can say for Neptune."

"Yeah, we figure the parties are bigger and better when everyone gets along. Plus then it's harder for the teachers to screw us around if we're all watching each others' backs. More room for getting away with stuff, y'know?"
