Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

"I'm not a fan of bursting into song either," Cassie said, feeling all hip. "Thanks for the extra warning, though."

He grinned. "Word gets around fast. But for the record, I made a *great* Danny Zuko."

"She actually had courtesy to warn me herself," Cassie said. "And I'm sure you did. The question is, will I ever get to see for myself?"

"Well, I'd do a reprisal for you here and now, but I think I'd get stuff thrown at me."

"Wouldn't want to cause you to get hurt the first time we met," Cassie said. "Though I do make a pretty good human shield if needed."

"Good to know. For that kind offer, consider this an IOU for one musical reprisal, claimable any time but now."

"Got it," Cassie said. "And I'm totally holding you to that, in the future. I'm writing this down in the diary I don't have."

"I hear those kinds of diaries are good. That way you remember important stuff, but no one else can read it."

"And you don't have to worry about anyone making fun of the unicorn on the cover," Cassie said with a nod.
