Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

"Okay, good," Peter said. "Then it's just an alternate universe. Granted, I could announce my identity to the world and only five people would be surprised at this point, but still."

"I'm... really glad you're alternate universe-you, and not my-universe you," Cassie said.

"Why?" Peter asked curiously.

"Cause that whole announcement thing kinda made my universe you a big jerk," Cassie said. "Which was kinda not so fun, cause I liked my-universe you. And wow, this is weird to keep referring to."

"A couple other people around here know me from another universe," Peter said. "What's really weird is that I've never met the them from my universe. There's something inherently unfair about that."

"Yeah," Cassie said. "I only recently got into the whole, you know, heroing thing, though."

"I've only been doing it a couple years now myself," Peter said. "And it's been a little more spotty since I came here. Although when I've had to do the hero thing, it tends to be bigger scale here. Anyway, what do you do?"

"Shrinking and growing," Cassie said. "And I get kinda super strong when I grow, cause I'm big."

"Like Giant-Man?" Peter asked. "If you have a Giant-Man."

"Yeah," Cassie said. "I'm sorta like a Giant-Man who can shrink, too. My dad was an Ant-Man, if you have one of those?"

"Nope. Superheroes have only been popping up in my world for a couple years, though, so maybe he's still to come," Peter said. "After all, we're already getting Ultimate Ronin. Scott Lang can't be far behind!"

"Cool," Cassie said. "Ours have been around for ages. I guess that must be... exciting and stuff?"

"It is for me. I was one of the first, so I got in on the ground floor," Peter said.

"And then started scaling your way to the top?" Cassie joked.

"Pretty much, yeah. Sometimes cheating with a webline to speed up the process. And then when I'm an adult, I'll apparently be one of SHIELD's favorite agents," Peter said, rolling his eyes. "Do you have SHIELD?"

Cassie sighed. "Yeah, we have a SHIELD. I'm kinda maybe destined to be an agent there too, maybe."
