Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

"Brilliant," Peter agreed. He pondered for a second. "Not just at the Meerkats, but I don't suppose we could paint a Stickbug flag on the grass of the Courtyard."

"If we do it with a lot of food dye, no one can yell at us for killing the grass because it's harmless and washes out."

"True, but then it'll probably rain two hours later," Peter said. "Perhaps Peter or Greg could find another non-grass-harming dye that doesn't wash out immediately."

Kawalsky clapped Peter on the back. "Smart thinking. Knew there was a reason we kept you around," he grinned. "Might as well make use of the geeks."

Peter laughed. "Planning ends up being my specialty half the time. Rather depressing, really. And might as well set Tyler on that search too. He does things with chemicals."

"Princess, Shorty and Tyler. Got it. You and me can do the strategic planning, the science geeks and Tyler can do the chemicals," Charlie said. He wasn't half bad with chemicals when it came to making stuff that exploded, but harmless stuff wasn't his thing. "Me, Crichton and Cam are good for muscle and manpower, same with the Jamies. The Jamies should be good with distractions too."

Peter raised an eyebrow. "What, I'm only a step better than the science nerds now?"

"What? No! I meant we're gonna need someone in charge to coordinate everything. Not that there's anything wrong with science geeks. They can kill you with their brains."

Peter laughed. "Not as burly as you, true. And really, if anyone's brain is going to kill me, I'll stick with my girlfriend's."
