Sunday Evening - Fifth Floor Common Room

After handwavy shopping for supplies and food, Peter and Isabel decorated the Common Room and hung a banner across the back saying  "Congratulations on Surviving Our First Week of Classes!"  

A big cake of whatever flavour you want to mod saying much the same thing, soda, chips, and lots of other food were laid out on the table along with poppers, kazoos, noisemakers, and other party favours and games.

In short, the Common Room was set up for a big Student Council sponsored party for all students old and new.

If Alanna had any misgivings about Charlie's driving, she didn't say. "I'll try my best to cut out of class as quickly as possible. If it was DAMM, I wouldn't even go, honestly, but it's tactics. And I have no classes Wednesday."

"Great," he said, still grinning, "Wouldn't want you falling asleep in class because I kept you up all night. But trust me, it'll be worth it. This isn't just any game. It's New York versus New Jersey. Age-old rivalry. Clash of the titans. Well, the titans and some smaller, less skilled guys, but it's still a good game!"

New York pride right there.

Dirty? Alanna raised a brow. "Well...no need to ask which team we're going to be rooting for."

He frowned. "If you did have to ask, I'd be very, very disappointed."

"So New Jersey, right?" Alanna asked teasingly.

"You're asking for trouble, you know that, right?"

Charlie gave her a 'hmm okay I'll let you get away with it this time' look and gave her a brief kiss. "I'm gonna go bug the guys and do guy stuff."

Alanna returned the kiss. "Stay away from Peter Parker. He's way too interested in your orientation for my safety of sanity."

"I think he has a crush on me, but if he tries anything, I'll tell him I'm taken."
