Second Floor Common Room - Wednesday Night

Kawalsky wasn't just in the common room. He was in the common room with enough junk food to last the night, pillows, all the blankets he could find and a bunch of chairs. The TV was playing the third hour of a Rescued by the Alarm marathon. It was the one where Bessie didn't get into the college she wanted and Shriek kept getting into the oddest colleges, so Bessie kept freaking out at everyone and scaring them with her giant feet.

Kawalsky was only half-watching it anyway. He was busy trying to make a giant room fort that covered the TV.

"Twin guys! Come add to the fort. The bigger the better."

Matching grins lit up on their faces and they nodded eagerly.

"Got any more blankets?"

"There's a pile behind the couch, but I think we're gonna need more."

"If you run out, we'll totally lend you some of ours." They both gave him a thumbs up and got to work.

"Great! I'm Charlie, by the way. I've seen you guys around, but I don't remember your names. We have History together, I think."

"Ah, yeah. That class.." Kaoru frowned a little, thinking about it.

"I'm Hikaru." One of the twins held up a hand and grinned. "And I'm Kaoru." The one who'd previously spoken rose his next.

"Hikaru and Kaoru," Kawalsky repeated to make sure he got it right. "I'm Charlie. And yeah, that class. Noblet sure is a piece of work."

"Tell us about it."

"That lecture today was ridiculous..." Kaoru shook his head a little.

He grinned, "But funny. The guy's a natural comedian and he doesn't even realize it."

"I suppose it was rather amusing." A smirk hinted at the corners of Hikaru's mouth. "And funny that he seems to believe in it all so strongly."

"Have the rest of your classes been as entertaining?"

Kawalsky readjusted one of the blankets. "Revolutions is entertaining, but kind a Jerry Springer kind of way. So far it's everyone arguing about overthrowing the government. And I've got The Gods and You. That's entertaining because the teacher thinks he is a god. There's nothing funnier than a giant ego at work."

Both smirked at the thought.

"I have Lord Vader for ethics, so besides an ego, I have to deal with his...intimidating presence. Not quite so funny." Kaoru crossed his arms over his chest.

"A guy in a big black suit with a voice like that? He's gotta be compensating for something." He smirked.

Kaoru bit his lip against a smirk. "Totally. He said the outfit was 'slimming' but there's gotta be some other motivation behind it."

"A big, chunky black suit is slimming? Geez, wouldn't want to see what's underneath then."
