2nd floor common room, Wednesday afternoon (after classes)

Hunting had been a good distraction for awhile, but when Wyatt returned to the second floor, he found himself dwelling again on what they were going to do about Belthazor. Having an uncle who was half-demon was bad enough. The Source of All Evil? That was right out.

He sighed and flopped on the couch. Maybe TV would be another distraction.

"What's the alternative?" Neil asked softly.

"Well, it'd be nice if my aunt's boyfriend was someone not so evil, like a cop or a doctor or something," Wyatt said.

"You can be a factory foreman and still be evil." Neil pointed out, perching on the arm of the couch.

"But that's not what I meant. I mean, if he is evil..." And yes, just at this point in the conversation did Neil realize the word demon was being bandied about.

"I'm sorry, did you say, demon?"

"Demon," Wyatt repeated. "God, my aunt has horrible taste in men."
