2nd floor common room, Wednesday afternoon (after classes)

Hunting had been a good distraction for awhile, but when Wyatt returned to the second floor, he found himself dwelling again on what they were going to do about Belthazor. Having an uncle who was half-demon was bad enough. The Source of All Evil? That was right out.

He sighed and flopped on the couch. Maybe TV would be another distraction.

Anders probably shouldn't have been wandering around by himself, but he was getting a little restless. Besides, it was just the common room, right?

He felt a little more justified in the decision upon seeing Wyatt in there. "Hey, man," he said, sinking into one of the couches.

"Hey," Wyatt said, looking up from mindless channel surfing. "What's up?"

"Eh," Anders said in a flat voice. "Looking for something that doesn't involve thinking."

"Same here," Wyatt said. "Been doing far too much of that for the past few days."

Neil despite his chipper icon was looking fairly morose as he scheleped through the 2nd floor common room on his way to the third floor.

"Dude, you look about as happy as I do," Wyatt said.

Hearing Wyatt's voice, Neil turned towards him and after a beat he gave his classmate a rueful twist of his lips.

"If that's true...I'm sorry for whatever's going on to put you in this mood."

"My uncle's an evil demon and we have to kill him," Wyatt said with a shrug. "How about you?"

"Hey dudes." says Dick, sitting down. "What's on?"

"Absolutely nothing interesting," Wyatt said, tossing the remote at Dick. "Unless you can find something."

"Probably something about the Super Bowl on ESPN." he says, flipping the channel. "And would you look at that? I was right."

"No 49ers, no Patriots," Wyatt said. "But I'll watch anyway."

Tannim limped into the common room and sat down on the couch.

"Hey," Wyatt greeted Tannim. "What'd you think of Hunting that so hasn't finished yet anyway?"

"We didn't die," Tannim said optimistically. "That's gotta be good."

"Score one for the good guys," Wyatt said. "This ghost busting's not so bad so far."

"Pretty damn good. I didn't die during class and I've got Sports Center on." says Dick, grinning. "What more could a guy want?"

Alanna came in to the room. "TV good." Faithful snorted.

Tori was feeling a bit restless, itching for something to do, even going so far as to want class.

She decided to go a floor below and check out the common room.
