2nd floor common room, Wednesday afternoon (after classes)

Hunting had been a good distraction for awhile, but when Wyatt returned to the second floor, he found himself dwelling again on what they were going to do about Belthazor. Having an uncle who was half-demon was bad enough. The Source of All Evil? That was right out.

He sighed and flopped on the couch. Maybe TV would be another distraction.

"You're welcome." Tori offered him a small smile, not that it helped. "As I said to Chris, if you need any help with anything, I'd be happy to lend a hand."

"Those water powers may come in handy," Wyatt said thoughtfully. "He's all flamey."

Tori nodded. "I bet they will." A big enough blast of water would stop fire. "I'm assuming the research went well?" She noted that Wyatt had said they knew what they had to do. Hopefully, things would work out.

Wyatt nodded. "There's a spell we found that should do it. We gotta get my mom and her sisters to say it while he's there."

"There's something that can be done. That's got to be a relief." Tori mused.

"Except for the part where we have to kill my aunt's boyfriend," Wyatt said.

"Oh no." Tori frowned. "I didn't know... oh man." She shook her head. "You sure there isn't some way around it? I mean, to destroy whatever's making him act that way?"

Wyatt shook his head. "My Mom and her sisters had to do it in my past. It looks like their only choice was to totally vanquish him."
