Outside the dorms - Wednesday late afternoon and evening

Katara was not in quite as good a mood as yesterday due to certain evil teachers.  So she decided not to wait any longer to go build snowman or men or people.  Many, many snow people and maybe a snow turtleseal while she was at it.  And the nice thing about waterbending meant that any ice patches weren't going to bother her for long.

Not finding it cold at all, she had her coat unbuttoned and flapping in the wind as she worked.

Tori was totally up for playing in the snow tonight, so she found herself outside and ready to build some snowmen.

"Hey Katara."

"Tori!" Katara said, beaming. "Happy Valentine's Day!"

"Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Katara." She grinned. "How has your day been?"

"Pretty good," Katara said with a shrug. "Darth Vader is my mentor. And he gave me detention. But other than that? I like a day about chocolate. How's yours?"

"I'm glad to hear that." Tori smiled warmly at her. "Well, detention shouldn't be all that bad, right? I guess it could be worse?" She admitted. "As do I. My day has been great. I've been delivering Valentine's Day gifts to people. I have one for you, too."

Luke was parked on the front stoop--where he'd been for hours, watching the snow fall--with his hood up and a look of pure wonder on his face.

"It's beautiful," he said softly.

Katara spun in the snow. "Isn't it? Come, you should play in it!"

"You can play in it?"

Katara's eyes widened, and she ran over to try to tug Luke out into the snow. "Come on, we can make snowmen and snow angels and build a fort and all sorts of stuff. Oh! We could make candy too. Sokka and I were only allowed to do that on holidays, but it's fun."

Luke followed along willingly. "Show me how," he said, with a laugh. "I'm completely new to all of it."

"Hey Luke." Tori smiled, when she spotted him. "Come out to enjoy the snow?"

Luke's eyes were bright. "First time I've ever seen it."

Tori's eyes widened. "Really?"

He nodded. "Two suns at home. So, yeah, no snow."

Since Ami had wanted to use their room to cook Billy dinner for Valentine's day, Naomi was staying away from her room for that time. Playing in the snow sounded like fun so she was there.

Katara waved. "Hi! Did you come to make snowmen?"

"Hey," Naomi waved in response, "yeah, making snowmen sounded like fun,"

"Yay! I have this one started," she said, gesturing to the first ball of a snowman's body. "Want to help with this one? Or start your own?"

Naomi nodded, "sure I can help you with that one,"

Evie came out all bundled up, and smiled up at the sky, catching snowflakes on her tongue.

Katara waved. "Hi Evie! Isn't it wonderful? All the snow!"

"I adore it!" Evie stood in place and spun for a moment, her scarf flying out behind her. "I need to make snow angels!"

Katara bounced. "Yes! Luke and I were making them earlier," she said, pointing to the earlier snow angel and two headed Jedi.

Evie blinked at the two-headed Jedi, then shook her head, and went over to flop down in the snow, giggling and waving her arms. "Cherabim! And now seraphim!"
