Outside the dorms - Wednesday late afternoon and evening

Katara was not in quite as good a mood as yesterday due to certain evil teachers.  So she decided not to wait any longer to go build snowman or men or people.  Many, many snow people and maybe a snow turtleseal while she was at it.  And the nice thing about waterbending meant that any ice patches weren't going to bother her for long.

Not finding it cold at all, she had her coat unbuttoned and flapping in the wind as she worked.

[OOC: Post open for snowman building or snowball throwing or any snow activity you desire not dirty omg]

Luke shook his head. "Sorry."

Luke's eyes widened. "There's something better than this?" he asked, scooping up a handful of snow and tossing it at her.

And yes, he totally believed himself to be the first one ever to come up with this idea.

Luke ducked as well, though his footing wasn't exactly secure.

"It's not?" he asked. "But everything's all white!"

"You can live in it?" Luke blinked. "I thought that was just because the Alliance was desperate on Hoth."

He tried to duck the handful of snow and lost his footing. He landed in the snow with an "oomph," then burst out giggling.

"Hoth is a giant ball of ice," Luke said, trying to wriggle out of the way of the snow Katara was dumping on him.

But not too hard. The experience was still novel enough to be fun.

Luke took the hand gratefully, then shook the snow from his hair.

It caught in his eyelashes.

"Sounds...very different than what I'm used to," he said diplomatically.
