Fourth floor common room: Quite early Sunday morning
Mice, as it turned out, weren't big on sleeping for long stretches at a time. This explained why Jack had squeezed under Cedric's door, exploring his way down the hallway, sniffing at each door until he ended up in the common room.
It took awhile, but he eventually managed to climb up onto the couch and scamper over to the remote control. //Okay, I can do this.//
Bouncing up and down on the power button eventually turned the TV on, and he used both paws to change the channel. He paused, twitching his whiskers, as the screen was suddenly filled with mice. Cute mice. //The Saviours, huh?//
Jack curled up on top of the remote to watch the story of two heroic mice, who obviously had a severe case of UST, nibbling on a bit of popcorn he'd found under one of the pillows.
[ooc: Open, of course!]

"You're welcome." He responded. "Now, let me get started on some food for you. A mouse can not live on coffee alone." He insisted as he started up the skillet to fry some bacon.
"Are you normally a mouse?" He asked as he cooked.
no subject
//Nope. Student.// He held his paws out flat together, trying to mime a book, then pointed his paw at Neil, head cocked in obvious question. //I'm Jack, not that you can understand me, Who are you?//

The pointing paw and curious head tilt was a little easier to interpret and Neil offered his name along with the little bite of toast.
"Neil. I'm a junior, transfered in at Spring semester."

He was also getting jam all over himself, but he'd pretty much surrendered dignity for however long he was a mouse, so it didn't worry him.

"Uh...nice to meet you too." He offered in return before turning his attention back to finishing up the promised pancakes and bacon.
Breaking everything into mousesized pieces, Neil set the plate down near the bowl of coffee.
"Syrup?" He offered, cause you know a mouse can't have enough sugar!

Carefully pouring some syrup out onto a spoon, he doled it out across the pancake bits so that it didn't make the pancake or the mouse, a totally soggy syrupy mess.
"There we go!"

He was trying to be delicate, but there's was only so much a mouse could do.
As soon as he tasted the bacon, attempts at delicacy were forgotten. Obviously bacon had been designed especially for mousie tastebuds, because it was the best thing Jack had ever tasted and he started gnawing on it with great enthusiasm.

"I guess mice seriously like bacon." He said with a hint of awe in his tone.

"Need anything else?"

Only one way to find out!
no subject
"Enjoy."
