[2nd Floor Common Room, Thursday Morning]

Alec had apparently decided to take Hades' announcement to heart today, as he sat in the common room kitchen with a giant pot on the stove and many weetiny penguins running around. The stove was on, the water coming to a boil, and Alec was hungry.

Alec blinked at Molly and was quiet a moment. "...I'm hungry," he finally said, plaintively.

"Raid the fridge!" Molly said indignantly. "You don't have to go all Wild Kingdom in the common room."

"But they're here!" Alec gestured at the weetiny hordes. "It's not like I'm biting their heads off and leaving them around!"

To the protest of the penguins who had been enjoying their ride, Molly dropped the ends of the scarves and crossed her arms over her chest. "And how exactly were you planning on killing them before you cooked them, hmm?

"Probably just--" Alec made a motion like breaking a weetiny neck. "Easy!"

Molly flailed at him. "Don't do that where they can see you!"

"I don't think they can tell what I'm doing," Alec said dryly, though the several weetiny penguins that went scurrying under a chair seemed to disprove that idea.

Molly frowned at him. "You're a bad man, Alec."

Glancing at him every now and then out of the corner of her eye, she called to the penguins around Alec and tried to get them to leave with her. Her penguin wasn't very good though so her success was hit and miss.

Alec frowned a little, watching Molly as she tried to herd penguins of weetininess. "I'm not bad," he mumbled under his breath, deflating a little at the thought. "I was just hungry."
