Alec had apparently decided to take Hades' announcement to heart today, as he sat in the common room kitchen with a giant pot on the stove and many weetiny penguins running around. The stove was on, the water coming to a boil, and Alec was hungry.

He can manage fairly good puppy eyes when he wants, so he does them at Jaye. "But what if I'm reeeeeally hungry?"

"Then you can make those eyes at someone and have them make you a sandwich," she grins.

Alec continues to make eyes at Jaye.

"Does that mean I should make you a sandwich?" she giggles.

"Well, it'd make me less hungry," he says, trying to look cute.

"Okay," she says, because she's still kind of a sucker for the cute look. "But no penguins!"

He grins at her. "Yay!"

She goes to the fridge to grab some stuff for sandwiches, and if anyone had their name on it, too bad. And at that point, the weetiny penguin poked its head out of Jaye's pant leg, and scurried across the floor towards safety.

Alec sits patiently, quite happy to be fed a sandwich instead of putting effort towards cooking penguins. "You know you're awesome, right?"

"Yeah, but I hate to brag," she says, putting a moddable sandwich together and handing it to him on a plate. Yes, he even got a plate. "But you can brag for me."
