Basilisk Campfire, Sunday Evening

So much packing and unpacking today! after visiting his little sister and getting his and Chad's alcove set up, Teddy went to go sit out by the campfire and maybe meet his cabinmates.

He was currently reading one of his comics to pass the time. Had to get through all those new comics he got at that con over on the mainland.

[[ooc: Open as campfires are wont to be]]

"Hello Johnny, did you sleep well?" He smiled as he started un packing the food to cook.

The people at the store said that these sausages were the best thing for cooking over the fire on a stick. So Haku thought he would give them a try.

Johnny slouched in his chair, grinning. "Better than ever. What about you, sweetheart? And do tell me you plan on sharing whatever it is you are getting ready to cook?"

"Yes, I slept perfectly, a cot is much prefered to the ground," he smiled and looked at the package oddly noticing the word 'hot dogs'. "I hope these aren't actually dogs, but you're welcome to have some."

"Uh, no, honey. Those are the cooking sort of dogs. Put one on a stick and hold it over the fire for a few minutes and they're awesome." Of course, Johnny did have the chance to show off here, but he thought the whole experience of roasting a weinie on a stick worthy of beginners. He wouldn't take that from Haku.

"Oh good, because dog is not that good. I was worried that I'd picked up the one ones." Yes, sadly, he was being serious. "Help yourself though."

Haku seemed to have everytying under control, pulling long metal skewers out of the bag as well.

Johnny cocked his head, not sure he should venture further into that comment. No. Definitely not.

"Maybe in a bit. Thanks."

"Of course," Haku nodded and sighed as he sat back after setting up a few hot dogs to cook. "Workshops start on Monday, correct?"

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
"That they do." He quirked a brow, asking, "Looking forward to them?"

(no prob! I didn't even notice.)

"Yes," Haku nodded with a releived smile. "Working out with water clones can only go so far."

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
"Water clones? Tell me how that works," he asked, interested.

[identity profile] snow-white-boy.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
"I can make clones of myself out of water," Haku shrugged, as if it were so simple. "I can manipulate water in general."

And to demonstrate, Haku pulled out a bottle of water from the bag and opened it, drawing all the water out of it with a wave of his hand and holding it in a ball above his palm. "See?" He smiled.

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 11:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Dude," he smiled, "that is so cool. Can I touch it?"

(ooc: sorry to drop off like that last night, was omg tired.)

[identity profile] snow-white-boy.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 01:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"Sure," Haku said holding out his palm. It was water, though thankfully it wasn't going anywhere.

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Johnny leaned over and poked his finger through it. "Cool. That is really cool," he grinned. "What else can you do?"

[identity profile] snow-white-boy.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"I can make clones of myself out of water, mirrors and needles of ice," he shrugged. "There's not really a limit to it. I only have to be careful not to do anything to big and drain all my energy."

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 04:37 pm (UTC)(link)
"I get it. It's sort of like me. When I'm flamed up, and use up the oxygen in the air, it's harder for me to stay lit. Drains my energies."

[identity profile] snow-white-boy.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
"Flamed up? Do you do the same thing with flames then?" Haku smiled looking intrigued.

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-14 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
He grinned and snapped his fingers, producing a small ball of fire in his hand. "Something like that, yeah."

[identity profile] snow-white-boy.livejournal.com 2007-05-15 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
Haku smirked. "Hmmm, where I come from that could potentially make us enemies," he teased.

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-15 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Johnny quirked a brow, "Could it now?" Haku wasn't aware that it would take a tremendous amout of water to extinguish Johnny.

"But not here in Fandom, Haku. Here we can be friends and just play with each other dirty?." Johnny teased.

[identity profile] snow-white-boy.livejournal.com 2007-05-15 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
Haku raised an eyebrow. "Play with each other? I don't know what you mean Johnny," he said looking away into the fire with a little teasing smile.

[identity profile] fantastic-torch.livejournal.com 2007-05-15 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
Johnny caught that smile and chuckled, sitting back once more in his chair, "Nevermind, sweetheart."
