Basilisk Campfire, Sunday Evening

So much packing and unpacking today! after visiting his little sister and getting his and Chad's alcove set up, Teddy went to go sit out by the campfire and maybe meet his cabinmates.

He was currently reading one of his comics to pass the time. Had to get through all those new comics he got at that con over on the mainland.

If the campfire was lit? Johnny would most likely be hanging around it. He set out for it after it turned dark, wanting nothing more than to pretty much chill for the night.

Noticing the other guy, Johnny waved, "Hey, I'm not intruding or anything, am I?"

Teddy looked up from his comic at the newcomer. "Oh, no. Just hanging out." He set the comic down next to him and offered his hand. "I'm Teddy, you one of my cabinmates?" He asked, nodding back at Basilisk cabin.

Johnny came over and reached out, giving Teddy a firm handshake, "Johnny Storm and yes," he said, glancing back at the cabin. "I'm B. You a new student as well?" Johnny pulled up a lounge chair, sitting down.

"No, an old student." And that was when Teddy's brain caught up with what Johnny said and he sputtered and almost fell off his chair like a spaz. "Johnny Storm? The Human Torch Johnny Storm?"

"Hey Man. Welcome to Fandom. Have we broken your brain yet?"

Johnny nodded, reached over to shake his hand, "Johnny Storm, and thanks. So far my brain in intact," he grinned, "Tomorrow is another day though, so might want to check back with me then."

Billy grinned and shook his hand. "William Kessler, but everyone calls me Billy. What sort of things have you heard about this place so far?"

Haku came up to the cabin after handwavey picking up good camping food down at the store. He smiled seeing a new person sitting there with Johnny. "Hello, are you in Basilisk too?" He asked, setting down the bag.

All Teddy could think upon seeing Haku was Oh thank God. Here was a girl he didn't have to worry about admitting some stupid crush to.

"Yeah. I'm Teddy," He said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Teddy I'm Haku," He smiled and held out his hand to the blond.

"Hey, Haku. How's it going?"

"Hello Johnny, did you sleep well?" He smiled as he started un packing the food to cook.

The people at the store said that these sausages were the best thing for cooking over the fire on a stick. So Haku thought he would give them a try.

After spending the day setting up for the workshops all next week and trying to get used to cabin life, Will took a walk around the campgrounds to get some fresh air. After spotting a very familiar face, she headed over to Basilisk cabin to say hi.

"Hey, Teddy! When'd you get back from your trip?"

"Will!" He waved cheerfully at her. "Just this morning. What cabin are you in?"

"I'm over across the way in Curupira? Keroppi? That cabin across the way with the hard to pronounce name. I have a giant turtle for a cabin roomie!"

She grabbed a seat on one of the chairs around the campfire. "So how'd it go? Do anything fun over there?"

"Hey Teddy." Billy waved as he wandered around. "What's going on?"

Teddy waved back. "Hey Billy! Nothing much, just relaxing before the summer sessions start up."

"Can't argue with that. You meet any weird new people yet?"

Inara took a seat in front of the fire, pulling her shawl around her. The nights got unexpectedly chilly. She waved to her other assembled cabinmates and remembered that she was here to get to know people.

"Hello," she greeted them.

Teddy waved back. "Hello! I'm Teddy, one of your cabinmates."

"I'm Inara. It's nice to meet you, Teddy. Which side are you on?" She wasn't sure how this worked yet, but she didn't think she'd met everyone on her side yet.

Well Billy wasn't a cabinmate, but he was here nonetheless. "Hi, welcome to Fandom."

"Thank you very much," she smiled at him, "Have you been here long?"

"Hello Inara," Haku smiled and offered her a hot dog on a stick. "Would you like something to eat?"

"What is it?" She asked, not familiar with the hot dog as a form of food. Her protein usually came in soy form.
