Donatello had a pencil, a notebook he usually reserved for sketching diagrams or writing down new project proposals, and enough boredom to be coming up with glitter-throwing test ideas. Not that he expected to use them himself (whether or not it worked on turtles as well as humans), but it was something to do while he didn't have a computer.

Kou laughed. "I like you," he said. "What kind of cookies?"

"Chocolate chip," Z told him. "They're processed delicious!"

"Did you make them yourself?" Kou asked, taking one of the cookies.

Z did not want to admit to not making the cookies, but then she also did not want to admit to having a lazy ass. "Awesome tattoos. So, about my petition."

"Thanks. Wanna see how far down they go?" Kou raised an eyebrow in blatant invitation.

"Sure," Z said easily. Loose morals of the future go! "Sounds like a fun time. But first, can I be an auxiliary goatsucker? Is that cool with you?"

"Cool. And I'd say sure, but it's not really my call. One of those whole-cabin deals, you know?" Kou shrugged apologetically.

"I figure if I poll you guys and I get a majority that's good enough. So?"

"That sounds good to me," Kou agreed. "So that's a yes vote from me." He slid an arm around her shoulders, smiling down at her. "How can I say no to someone as cute as you?"

Z let him put his arm around her and grinned up at him. "You're pretty cute yourself, there. Unless you don't like cute. In which case you're handsome. Very ruggedly handsome."

"I like cute. All of the above are good, actually." He preened a little. "Though I never really thought of myself as 'rugged'. Whenever I think of 'rugged', I think of a big burly guy in a plaid shirt with a big bushy beard."
