Chupacabra Campfire [Late Afternoon]

Being inside the cabin means he can't run away should anyway try to tease him. Being outside, at least, means he can try and run away. Still, it's not like either option is good.

ONE WEEK.

He's been here one week and already he's made a gigantic fool of himself. He didn't even know who Siegfried and Roy were. And he told Luke waaaaaaaay too much. And thought the droid was a tiger.

He pulled a jacket over his head and tried to hide...in plain sight.

"Oh," he said. "Well, there was just one gremlin yesterday. Not a group."

"That's...good? It still made you think you were German," Kou pointed out. "I don't think it needs to go in groups."

"Well, I meant more that maybe there's just one of them here," Gavin clarified.

"...That'd be good." Kou brightened a little. "I'm still going to avoid anything that looks remotely like a gremlin. Probably a good idea for you, too, huh?"

"I think I'm going to run the opposite way from anything green from now on."

Kou laughed. "And glitter? Which is made of glitter and love?"

Gavin facepalmed. Twice.

Kou laughed. "It's okay. I won't hold it against you. So, that other guy's not really your angel, then?"

"He's just my friend," Gavin said, face still hidden by his hand. "Or we were friends. Who knows after this."

"If he's really your friend, he still will be after this," Kou said, spouting the usual thing that was quoted in times like this. Then he rolled his eyes. "Besides, he was a gay German too, so he's not really in any place to judge you."
