Chupacabra Campfire [Late Afternoon]

Being inside the cabin means he can't run away should anyway try to tease him. Being outside, at least, means he can try and run away. Still, it's not like either option is good.

ONE WEEK.

He's been here one week and already he's made a gigantic fool of himself. He didn't even know who Siegfried and Roy were. And he told Luke waaaaaaaay too much. And thought the droid was a tiger.

He pulled a jacket over his head and tried to hide...in plain sight.

Rikku blushed. And shook her head. "It's okay. I, uh, I think maybe I'm never, ever gonna ... Deadpool would be very happy with you. Jude, probably not so much."

She laughed. "Besides, I asked. I thought it was a figure of speech. Do you, uh, remember all of it? Wow. That has to suck."

"I remember it all," he sighed. "Very vividly. I'm so sorry."

"It's okay. And wow. Wow. I bet you're never gonna ... never mind. Yeah." She shuddered. "You and Luke didn't, uh, end up in the same place last night, did you?!"

"No!" The jacket came off for that. "No no no. I ended up in my own bed."

"Oh, thank goodness," Rikku took a big sigh of relief. "I mean, Luke's nice, it's not that, but I didn't think either of you ... I mean if you wanted to, that's totally okay, I mean, obviously, but ... I have heard horror stories about what people did when they weren't themselves and ... yeah."

He smiled a little tightly. "Yeah, we didn't. We haven't seen each other. I don't know what we'll do when we do. Because...wow."
